If you upgraded to the new iPad knitCompanion, and need some help finding your way around the new interface, or you have not used knitCompanion for some time; this class is for you. If you knit from charts, also, the Magic Markers are a wonderful tool to keep the different stitches color coded and counted. knitCompanion Next Gen – Charts, Markers, Repeats for text and charts

Ready to do more with the new knitCompanion Next Gen? On Monday April 16th at 1:30 PM Kathleen will be teaching how to use knitCompanion Next Gen with magic markers, repeats, guided charts, and linked counters. The new knitCompanion Next Gen for iPad also has great new features for text patterns. We can finally use repeat counters with written patterns. If you are comfortable with knitCompanion for iPad, or took the basic knitCompanion Next Gen class, then you are ready for this class. Just bring your charged iPad. This class is also twenty dollars.

Kathleen is also available for private knitCompanion classes at $25 per hour, which can be arranged through her at Knit ‘N Purl.

No need to crop text or charts if you just want to knit. Easier cropping and set-up if you want to use special counters and rows. Now, there are even repeat counters for text patterns.

Please bring your charged iPad, Apple Id and password, and Ravelry Id and password. It would be great if you could have the new knitCompanion already installed and any current projects exported to Dropbox, if you are a current knitCompanion user, before class. Kathleen can help with this before class, if you need help with this. You do not have to be a current user of knitCompanion to attend this class. ($20)

New iPad knitCompanion class for those knitters who need a refresher. This class will cover a whole pattern from start to finish including a chart with magic markers and repeat counter, chart key, text with highlights, row counters, and stitch key.

If you have used knitCompanion on the iPad before, and know you are not using it to its full potential, this class is for you. There are only 5 spots available on Tuesday January 30th from 1-3 with Kathleen. Please bring your charged iPad and Ravelry and Apple Appstore userid’s and passwords to class (just in case.)
