September 25 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm$20.00
This is 1 session- 1- 1/2 hrs
The class will begin with the basics- chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitch.
After practicing these stitches, if time permits, you will begin working on a simple pattern for a dishcloth (supplied) which uses all the stitches you have learned.
You will learn how to read a pattern, common abbreviations used and how to finish your dishcloth and weave in the ends.
1 skein of Worsted Weight Cotton (Purchased @ Knit-N-Purl)
Size H crochet hook and tapestry needle to weave in ends.
All supplies are for sale at the shop.
Homework: Have required supplies ready for class. I would also suggest you try to watch a video pertaining to beginning crochet prior to class to at least become familiar with some terms we will be using and how to make a slip knot.
