4-Ever in Blue Shawl KAL
November 8 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:00am on Friday, repeating until November 22, 2019
Join Molly to knit this gorgeous Mosaic Shawl. Pattern uses 2 colors of Fingering Weight Yarn. Molly selected a similar color palette as this photo and we sold out, but a reorder will be delivered this week!!! Make sure to get here and pick your colors soon.
We’ll meet on Friday’s in November on the 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd from 11:00-1:00.
Make sure you’ve one your gauge swatch. Swatch is 16 stitches in the “Bee Stitch” in garter using a US 4 needle.
Fun repeats of 4 stitches or less and not one purl stitch create this quick and easy crescent shawl. Mosaic knitting is an easy colorwork technique that uses slipped stitches and only one color at a time.
Ok, so there is some Homework:
You should have worked the Garter Stitch Tab Cast-On and done the 3 rows of Set-Up which gets you to 17 stitches in your “real” yarn.
I recommend that you practice the Bee Stitch with some waste yarn. I have links to several videos on our Project Thread in Ravelry so that should help you. If you still need help with the Cast-On, I will be giving a Demo at KNP at 11:00 on Wednesday, October 30th.
If you don’t use Ravelry then you can look at KnitPurlHunter.com for video’s or just go to UTube and type in what you are looking for. Hope you are getting excited about our project!!!
